On December 31st, Joe (my brother-in-law) and I ran the Lawrenceville Flashlight 5k. It was my first race. It was so much fun! We ran it in 27:40. I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to doing some more. I would like to do the Peachtree on July 4. It is a 10k. Prior to that, my next race is the 5k race of Ronald Reagan on February 14th and a 10k in March from Central Gwinnett High School. Afterward, we went over to Joe and Jess’ and brought in the new year playing Monopoly. Karen took all of our money just before the strike of midnight.
