Jonathan is growing so much and we have enjoyed capturing many of his “firsts” on video! This year Jonathan participated in his very first Easter egg hunts. The first part of the video is a hunt put on by our neighborhood, Trilogy Park. Jonathan was fascinated with all the other kids so it took him a little while to understand what was going on. Once he realized what to do he very quickly began picking up eggs and placing them into his basket.
The next day we had another hunt at the home of one of the ladies of Karen’s M.O.P.S. group. Jonathan had to learn to fend for himself here. Luckily, he had a very nice friend, Kaitlin, who helped him out (you will see that in the video).
The next week was Easter Sunday and we had a picnic lunch with the family. We always do a hunt and Jonathan was ready this time. Uncle Jeff gave the small ones a fifteen second head start. Some of the kids (I won’t name names) sneaked some eggs during that time, but that didn’t hold Jonathan back. He was on his way and picking up those that he could find. It was a great time to catch some of his firsts and I was glad that we were able to record it. Enjoy!
