We always look forward to the holidays and decorating the house for Christmas. Now that we have kids it’s even more exciting and fun! This year, Robbie didn’t waste any time decorating the house with Christmas lights and setting up the Christmas Tree. In fact, he had the house decorated and the tree up for a couple of weeks before I found time to decorate the tree. 🙂 And since Jonathan is now old enough to lend a hand he got the chance to help put some of the ornaments on the tree. And of course our videographer captured the moment! 🙂
It’s been fun to see how excited Jonathan is about the tree and the lights. Every morning he comes downstairs and asks to turn on the Christmas tree lights and returns to the tree throughout the day to point out his “choo choo” and “ooo ooo! eee eee!” (monkey) ornaments. Many of the homes in our neighborhood get decorated too so whenever we drive through the neighborhood he points and screams “Christmas tree!” for all of the decorations. 🙂 Having children to share in the fun of the holidays makes the season so much more special!
